Volunteers in Focus July

Meet our Volunteers who work tirelessly to save koalas

Volunteers are an integral part of our organisation and collectively have far-reaching impact – on our organisation, wildlife conservation, the local community and society as a whole. Within our industry our amazing volunteers and their achievements are well known.

This month we congratulate those who have completed their koala care induction program which includes a two hour induction off and on-site plus four koala care rosters under training and supervision. Some of these volunteers have now extended their volunteer work to hotline and leafing which is fantastic as we have gaps in these areas.

July highlights

Check out the happy, smiley faces on the photos below. This is what we see each day from these incredible humans. Most of the work done below is sorting leaf for our koalas. If we don’t have enough leaf, our koalas can’t eat, so it’s one of the most important jobs around here!

Dale

She is a busy woman and has been with us for over three years now! Thank you Dale for your commitment to saving koalas and awesome work!
