Volunteers in Focus – October

Volunteer to save koalas in the Northern Rivers NSW

It has been a busy and challenging time for our volunteers with so many koalas needing our help, but every day they show up with passion and dedication for our koalas and we cannot thank them enough!

Our ‘Volunteers in Focus’ is our small attempt at highlighting the amazing work that they do.

Our koala care meetings take place every day and are especially important during busy times – so that we know what’s what with our koalas!

Training is a big part of Friends of the Koala so volunteers develop the skills to work safely with koalas in line with approved protocols.

Have you ever considered volunteering? We have lots of ways in which you can become involved with Friends of the Koala – whether you are a local or not! Please take a look at our Volunteering with Friends of the Koala page for more information.

If you would like to help us but are unable to volunteer with us, you can help in plenty of other ways:
