Management Committee – Volunteer Secretary

Friends Of The Koala

Friends of the Koala Management Committee are looking for a new Secretary.

This is a hands-on role in the organisation working closely with the Executive Management team.

The committee meets officially bi-monthly on a Saturday afternoon for 3 hours and informally once a month, usually by zoom. You will need to attend both of these. You will remind us of when we need reports for the meeting, send out a reminder notice, create the agenda, take the minutes, and ensure the appropriate people receive a copy (are sent a link).

The secretary role is an important part of the executive team, and we would love to have a passionate person join us. Computer prowess of word is a must for this position. Knowledge of Outlook, Teams and Sharepoint is advantageous (though training will be provided).

The organisation has grown, and we have many regulations and licenses we need to adhere to, so the position of Secretary is a serious one. You will get to work with some truly wonderful people doing their best to make a difference.

If interested or for more information please contact the President, Aliison Kelly on aliison@friendsofthekoala.org or 0428 216 079.
